Looking for an old-fashioned floor “wax” – does anything still exist?
When I was young, my mom used to wax our hardwood floors by pouring some clear liquid (Brite?) on them and spreading it with a Swiffer-type thing. It made them VERY shiny, and she didn’t have to remove it w/mineral spirits, or buff it or anything. I can’t find out what kind of product this was – or if it even exists anymore. I don’t want to use paste wax, or a buffer machine, just want shiny wood floors.
There are liquid waxes available still, at least a few years ago. Contact a janitorial supply.
